Markdown style guide
A quick tour of every markdown element this site can render — headings, code, quotes, tables and images.

This paragraph opens with a drop cap. Body text is set in Inter Tight, headings in
Fraunces. You can use bold, italic, inline code and links.
Second-level heading
Lists work as you’d expect:
- Unordered items
- With inline formatting
- And nesting
- Ordered items
- Count themselves
Third-level heading
Blockquotes are set in an italic serif, and are good for pull quotes from your travel journals.
// Code blocks are highlighted at build time, with light and dark themes.
export function greet(name: string) {
return `Hello, ${name}!`;
}
Images sit next to the markdown file and are optimised automatically:

| Element | Syntax |
|---|---|
| Bold | **text** |
| Italic | _text_ |
| Code | `code` |
That horizontal rule above becomes a little ornament.
